Alcoholism Treatment, as for any addiction, is long and difficult. Primary factor in successful treatment of this disease is the firm desire of the patient and his/her will power. There are some medical methods of treatment that bring good results. However, to intensify the effects of treatment and to secure positive results of rehabilitation a certain herbs can be used.

Natural Alcoholism Treatment:

Combine 1 part of wormwood, 1 part of centaury and 4 parts of thyme. 2 tbsp of the mix boil in 500 g of water for 10 min at low heat. Steep for 1 hour, strain and drink 1/3 of cup 3 times a day. Continue for 1 month, repeat treatment after 1 month break.( Do not use if any of those health conditions exist: liver and/or kidney disorders, anemia, ulcer of stomach and/or duodenum, atherosclerosis, thyroid gland disorders.)

Combine: wormwood, St. John's wort and yarrow herbs (1 part), and juniper berries and sweet flag root (1/2 part). 1 tbsp of the mix steep in 1 cup of boiling water for 15-20 min. Strain and drink like tea few times a day.

1 tsp of dried and crushed peony roots boil in 400 g of water at low heat for 5 min. Strain, add enough boiled water to make 400 g again and drink ½ cup 3 times a day.

Crush 1 tbsp of Asarum root and boil it in 1 cup of water for 10 min at low heat. Steep for 30 min, strain and add boiled water to make 200 g. Add 1 tbsp of the infusion to 1 cup of wine or vodka. Nausea and vomiting begin in 10-15 min. (Do not use during pregnancy. Do not exceed dosage as the plant is poisonous.)

1 tsp of dried and crushed lovage root and 2 laurel leaves add to 1 cup of vodka, keep for 2 weeks in warm place and strain. Drink all at once.

2 tbsp of crushed Veratrum root place in 1 cup of boiling water, steep for 10 min, strain and drink all at once. Do not drink any alcoholic beverages for 1 week prior to the procedure.

Put 1 handful of cut thyme in 4 cups of boiling water, steep for 30 min, strain and take 1 tsp every 3 hours. Continue for 1-2 weeks. Some patients will get nausea and vomiting, some-diarrhea.

Add 2 g of elder or buckthorn bark to 500 g of wine, steep for 3-4 days and take 20-50 g 3-4 times a day.
